Con este blog pretendo compartir mis dudas, experiencias y descubrimientos sobre los alumnos con TDAH, facilitando enlaces de páginas que nos pueden ayudar a tratarlos en el día a día y ser una ayuda para ellos y sus padres. Facilitar la vida a una persona no tiene precio, igual que la alegría que nos produce saber que, desde nuestro rincón del aula, hemos hecho que alguien se sienta mejor y cada vez más persona.

¿QUÉ PIENSA Y SIENTE?

· Necesita liderar un grupo.

· Le preocupa más no tener amigos que el cariño familiar

· Necesita sentirse querido por sus iguales y se comporta de forma negativa para sentirse admirado por ellos.

· Tiene más expectativas a nivel afectivo, entre iguales, que académico en donde todo lo que hace es forzado por la familia.

¿QUÉ VÉ?

· Sus padres, especialmente su madre, se muestra decepcionada, y ella siempre ha sido un puntal clave en su educación

· El grupo de amigos que tenía en Infantil y Primaria le ha dado la espalda y ahora es seguido por los que tienen peor actitud en clase o son más problemáticos

· Sus profesores pierden la paciencia con él, aunque este curso ha experimentado un cambio, tras la medicación,y empieza a observar mejores críticas.

· Se enfrenta a tener que superar su fama de conflictivo.

¿QUÉ DICE Y HACE?

· Se hace el gracioso en clase y mira al resto, tras su acción.

· Todos los puntos del aula concentran su atención en décimas de segundo. Parece querer saber todo lo que pasa su alrededor.

· Le interesa el tenis y dice sentirse encarcelado en el aula.

· Suele hablar con los más díscolos y los más mayores cronológicamente.

· Influencia a los, afectivamente, más desvalidos y más inquietos

· Es hermético al expresar lo que piensa

¿QUÉ ESCUCHA?

· En su entorno ha escuchado críticas negativas de padres y profesores que dicen siempre está llamando la atención

· Ha sabido que le decían insultos xenófobos,a su espalda.( Es adoptado y procede de Rusia)

· Los amigos de siempre se han distanciado y ni lo saludan.

· Escucha refuerzos positivos en sus resultados en tenis y,ahora,también sobre su cambio de actitud.

¿QUÉ LE FRUSTRA?

· Le frustra no ser acogido por amigos.

· Le preocupa que no haya iguales a su alrededor y no tener éxito con las chicas.

· Se siente diferente tanto físicamente, sus rasgos son eslavos,como por no poder controlarse,aunque lo intenta.

¿QUÉ LE MOTIVA?

· Seguir con su positivo cambio de actitud ,que le ha hecho ganarse la comprensión y felicitación de padres y profesores.

· Su sentido del éxito es saberse plenamente integrado en su círculo de amigos y lucha por ello.

“Pasajeros del vuelo JK724, con destino Nueva York, embarque puerta 9”

Una voz perfecta sonó en toda la terminal del aeropuerto. Ella no sabía qué hacer. ¿Dónde estaba la puerta? ¿Cómo descifrar ese maldito billete? Esos pasillos tan largos, tanta gente que parecía saber muy bien dónde iba y se apresuraba como si, la angustia de perder el avión, fuera mayor que el miedo a la muerte.

De pronto, sintió una mano, una mano que tiraba de ella y, suavemente, le decía:”Abuela, es por aquí. Ven conmigo”.

Sólo tenía quince años, pero Arturo, su nieto, había sabido ayudarla desde el momento de bajar del taxi. Había encontrado el mostrador de facturación. Había conseguido liberarla de su gran maleta azul marino, tan parecida a otras tres mil, que, el muchacho no había tenido más remedio que atarle el pañuelo que se ponía en la frente, cuando tocaba con su grupo. La había conducido por pasillos largos ,con tiendas preciosas en las que no podía pararse porque “llegaban tarde”, le decía la mano.”Igual que tantos otros”, pensaba ella.

Subieron al avión. La azafata les deseó buen viaje y Arturo la acomodó. Metió en el portaequipajes su eterno bolsón de piel y le dijo: “Ya estamos”.

Desde la ventanilla, sólo veía nubes y nubes blancas, puras bolas de lana bien mullida y, sin querer, recordó lo que el niño que llevaba al lado les había hecho sufrir.

Primero llamaron del colegio, luego del instituto. Siempre destacaban su mal comportamiento, su inquina, su falta de remordimiento tras la fechoría, sus mentiras…

A la llamada de teléfono solía seguir una expulsión de tres días.

Los pocos amigos de su infancia ya no estaban con él. Arturo iba vagando, como alma en pena; necesitando ser querido, sin saberlo. Sus gracias ni se entendían ni gustaban y, se quejaba de que las chicas se apartaban de él. “Nadie quiere a un inconstante”, le había dicho su hija. La misma que llevó a Arturo al especialista; la misma que le dijo: “Mamá, el niño tiene un problema neurológico; estará con él toda la vida, pero, con terapia, medicación y nuestra ayuda irá conviviendo con él. Arturo no es malo. Arturo tiene un trastorno de hiperactividad y falta de atención con el que todos tenemos que convivir. Necesita ayuda. Su interior es, de la mañana a la noche, un volcán que acaba de entrar en erupción.”

A diario iba consiguiendo pequeñas metas y hoy…después de unos años muy, muy duros, empezaban el viaje que, hacía poco, le había prometido; el que organizaron en una semana, aunque ella llevaba ahorrando años. Hoy mismo verían rascacielos y pasearían por Central Park. Hoy mismo subirían al Empire State…Hoy mismo había comprendido que, cuando estaba completamente sola en la marea del aeropuerto, una mano, la de su nieto, le había dado la vida… Y lloró…suave, lentamente. ¡Cuánta lucha dejaban atrás!

MI EXPERIENCIA EN EL CURSO

ASPECTOS POSITIVOS

ASPECTOS MEJORABLES

-Conocimiento real del TDAH. Gran utilidad en el aula.

-Sensibilización ante el trastorno.

-Haber accedido a abundante

material ,de la red y bibiliográfico , sobre su etiología, manifestaciones , cómo hacerle frente…

-Conocimiento y desarrollo de estrategias para desenvolverme en el aula, integrando su presencia con el resto del alumnado y, sensibilizando al gran grupo de las distintas varas de medir que han de aplicarse con las personas, según sus características.

-Sensibilización conjunta, del grupo-clase, para que se entienda y respete una actuación individualizada, incluso en la aplicación de medidas disciplinares.

-Saber aplicar estrategias sencillas , para el día a día del aula, que facilitan la integración de estos alumnos.

-Saber cómo enfocar la entrevista con la familia, con aprovechamiento por ambas partes ,y un seguimiento continuado.

-Conocer la existencia de Asociaciones y blogs que prestan un asesoramiento y ayuda importantes para familia y docentes.

-Satisfacción por tener mi primer blog, proporcional al gran esfuerzo que me ha costado.

-Necesidad de contar con más tiempo para la elaboración de tareas como el desarrollo de la unidad didáctica. He sentido mucha presión por los plazos de entrega.

-Gestionar la frustración que, en ocasiones, se siente por tener que compatibilizar familia-trabajo docente-curso, cuando en todos ellos se ha de intervenir, y con aprovechamiento.

- Se debe tener en cuenta que no todos somos expertos en el manejo informático y participación en redes sociales, y que al esfuerzo del curso, se ha añadido un sobreesfuerzo para llegar al nivel mínimo, en este aspecto.
